Purpose of the course

The AgilePM v3 course offers enhanced guidance for projects and, if necessary, product development within them. It will show how best practices for coordination, communication, and collaboration, ensure that all teams work seamlessly together towards a common project goal. The course will also demonstrate how other methodologies such as Scrum can be coalesced during the development stage within the wider AgilePM3 process framework.

You will learn how to

  • Focus on delivering value over merely delivering project outputs, ensuring meaningful business outcomes.

  • Empower project managers to become leaders in their projects, shifting from traditional management to inspiring leadership.

  • Integrate Scrum methodology to enhance project delivery effectiveness, using it as the core engine for product delivery.

  • Use better strategies to support the management of projects with multiple teams, providing enhanced guidance for coordination and collaboration.

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites for this course. Delegates new to project management will learn a great deal about how to manage projects. Existing project managers, or others involved in project management will learn a new way of looking at the project lifecycle.

Benefits for you as an individual

Understanding the different management style needed for successful agile projects compared to traditional projects will mean you can tailor your approach to different situations, allowing you to adapt to a changing business environment.

Benefits for your organisation

In an increasingly volatile world, where requirements and their priority are often revised, traditional project management can struggle to adapt and accommodate the changes, often leading to cost and time overruns.
