Learning theory has long recognised the need for learners to experience and apply what they are learning as well as theorise on it, yet despite this the majority of training courses offered still rely on traditional classroom methods of lecturing and presenting. These should and will always remain an integral part of learning. There is a need in some of us to understand theories, some of us are "wired up" to absorb information in this way. Others however learn best by ”doing” or experimenting.

If you are currently an ITIL v2 Manager then read on...
As you maybe aware the ITIL v2 qualification scheme has mostly been withdrawn, leaving just the ITIL Managers Bridge (v2-v3) course reminaing, which itself will no longer be available after the 30th June 2011.
After this date if you wish to become an ITIL v3 Expert you will have to do it the hard way, starting with the ITIL v3 Foundation course and working your way through the extensive qualification scheme.

If you are interested in Project Management and serious about getting qualified, you'll know two of the main routes you can go are PRINCE2® or APMP.
As with everything they both have their good and bad points and in exploring these you'll probably read or hear that APMP is the harder of the 2 qualifications with the national average sitting around 65%.

Following on from our ITIL® story, I'm pleased to announce that Quanta's pass rates for PRINCE2 Practitioner have followed a similarly impressive route!
Results in from the APMG show that for Q2 and Q3 this year, the national average came in at 74%.
Quanta have exceeded this considerably with a 76.5% pass rate!

Having just received the latest ITIL® V3 Foundation results from ISEB, we were very encouraged to see that from January 2010 to August 2010, our pass rates have surpassed the national average yet again!
