Withdrawal of ITIL® V2 Qualifications - FAQs

In October 2009, the Office of Government and Commerce (OGC) announced its intention to withdraw the ITIL v2 program by 30th June 2011 as follows:

Summer Offers launched!

It may not look like it by looking out of the window but believe it or not it is actually summer!!  As such we have launched our Summer Offer campaign; Good Things Come in 3's, with amazing offers on Public Courses and Training Day's!

First run of our Project Management simulation tomorrow

When I say run, I should really say pre-run as tomorrow is the first time Adam Montgomery will actually be running his Project Management simulation on an unsuspecting group of Quanta staff.  He has been developing the simulation for the last goodness knows how long!  He thinks’ he has crossed every T and dotted every possible I, however as we all know things don't always go to plan so it will be interesting to see how things go tomorrow.

Exciting new VMware training courses launched

We are now one of the only companies in the UK who are able to offer independent VMware training, so no longer do you have to pay the rather high official VMware prices. We are currently offering the following courses:

Business simulations, nice to have or need to have?

Do you think business simulations when implementing best practices in ITSM or Project Management are...

We recently asked the above question, with the possible answers of; a nice to have; a need to have; not needed at all?

The results revealed that 50% of people thought simulations were a NEED to have and the other 50% a nice to have.

Presentations - the art of presenting

I haven't always been a trainer. I've done plenty of other jobs, such as Sound Engineering (read "roadie") in which I worked with the Noize Boyz and Gel Belles (sound and lighting crew for bands), setting up and running concerts. Before that, I did a short stint as a projectionist, changing reels of film at the right moments in the movie.

We've started broadcasting ourselves

Yes that's right we have launched our very own Quanta Training channel on YouTube.  All very exciting!  We will be putting lots of rich content video up there in due course and on a regular basis broadcasting different screen recordings of various different IT related activities on the different products which we train on.  It will be like a short snippet of our much loved training courses!

Why not take a look at our YouTube channel and subscribe now?

Follow-on course scheme launched

Sadly it is often the case with training companies that you come, attend a course and go; and they think that there job is done. With Quanta that is not the case! We are here for the journey; we understand that to achieve your goals you need more than simply a one-off event; you need constant support guidance and help.
