The OGC announced the ITIL v2 withdrawal plan at the end of 2009, which if you are looking to convert to ITIL v3 would ffect you as follows:

• ITIL Foundation Bridge 31st December 2010
• ITIL Managers Bridge 30th June 2011

Yes these dates may look like light-years away but then again does anyone remember Xmas 2009?  Exactly time flies.
